Beautiful ladies, it’s time for our weekly teaching and I will be sharing on ‘what is the cost of truth?’.

I had just finished watching a particular episode of my popular series, where a young woman was raped severally but she decided to come forward not for herself but to help others. This led me to ponder on the essence of life and what the cost of truth is!

According to Merriam Webster dictionary truth is simply facts.
But I have personally come to the understanding that fact is evidence seen and could change; but truth is constant, never changes no matter the situation.
Facts might show us that we are not good enough, our marriage is failing, financial issues, rebellious children and much more. But God’s truth still stands – “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”. (John 3:16 NKJV). It also states in Genesis 1:27-28 that we are created in God’s image, likeness and have the capacity to be fruitful, multiply, subdue etc. Simply put – we are a blessing to our generation ladies!

So today I want to encourage you to stop looking at only the facts around; but begin to look at God’s truth that He has made available for all.

This scripture keeps me going –
For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].
Philippians 4:8 AMPC

For the cost of truth is eternal life with God and a life of purpose on earth.
