LoveSkool Singles Hangout cum workshop which held on Saturday, 10th of August, 2024. It was everything it was meant to be and much more, what an experience it was.

The convener, Ngee, shared case studies and practical lessons on how to understand and hone one’s emotional intelligence (EQ) and apply this understanding in navigating the new world of dating via social media.

What is Emotional Intelligence (EQ)?

Emotional intelligence refers to the capability of a person to be in touch of his or her emotions. It also translates to the ability to be in touch with your partner’s emotions in marriage. Emotional Intelligence involves not only recognizing and understanding these emotions but also effectively managing them. A person’s capacity for empathy and to talk about emotions in a healthy way are both components of emotional intelligence.

It is both a mindset and a skill cultivated by paying attention to your partner every day and supporting them. This means working on three essential relationship components: building your love maps, expressing your fondness and admiration, and accepting bids for connection.

LoveSkool Singles Hangout ended the program by celebrating the 2 couples who got married recently, Elizabeth & Bummi Adebayo, Deborah & Joshua Oluwafemi , and welcomed them into the Marriage arm (TLM and WAM). We celebrated the lead coordinator as she officially joins the advisory board of LoveSkool and the Woman and Marriage (WAM) Global arm.
