Thousands of years ago, a prophet of God- Isaiah; prophesied of the goodnews! That a son will be born to us and the government will be upon His shoulders  (Isaiah 9:6).

Today, I want to remind us as Christmas draws near that Jesus Christ is the good news we all have been waiting for!

It does not matter what we hear via social media, television and any other information outlets. We are assured beyond benefit of doubt that we will live in continuous victory.

For when we accepted Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour, we entered into another covenant with a new government.

This government allows us to live in this world, while enjoying the benefits of the government in heaven through salvation.

As you prepare to celebrate Christmas, do not neglect the good news it comes with- ‘a new government rules our life superceding all other governments  that surrounds us’.

Let us pray:

Thank You ABBA Father for the gift of salvation through Your son Jesus Christ. Thank You for pouring Your Spirit into us. That we may enjoy the benefits of salvation, while drawing others to you, in Jesus name…Amen.
