KMAI’s Family Hangout 2020 was wow!
Saturday the 26th of December, 2020 was a day never to be forgotten, as Keeping Marriage Alive Initiative (KMAI) hosted a program called 𝙁𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙤𝙪𝙩 with the theme: ‘𝙍𝙚𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙝’ at Fofina Bamboo Beach, Lekki, Lagos. It was indeed refreshing as different families from different parts of Lagos came together and refreshed their mind and body.
Different kinds of games were played like musical chairs, 5 aside, swimming, volleyball, jenga and many more.
The love feast was more than a five star refreshment as people shared and interacted with one another.
Finally, the general discussion with Ngee and Rich served as the conclusion of the event. Two questions were asked and discussed extensively –
– 𝙄𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩?
– 𝙄𝙨 𝙨𝙪𝙗𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙙?
Almost all the families aired their opinions on these topics which made it more interactive and interesting.
𝙒𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩:
- Marriage requires daily nurturing therefore the achievement is graded daily. Do not forget, marriage is a journey cum process not a bus stop.
- Submission is an everyday/life word that has its unique role in marriage.
About 32 families were present, mind-shifts occurred and testimonies were shared.
