Double DNA
Few days ago, I read about the chimeric DNA or what they call double DNA.
It was my first time of hearing about the ability to imbibe another’s DNA into our body system. This is common with fraternal twins or bone marrow transplant patients and sometimes pregnant women.
This got me thinking about Jesus Christ and our Christian faith. Jesus Christ was a chimeric – He was God in human form. That means He still had His DNA as God’s Son and also the DNA of mankind.
What about you and I? We are also carriers of our human DNA and when we give our life to Christ, our second DNA is activated, making us one with the Holy Spirit!
2 things begin to happen when we become one with Christ and our double DNA is activated:
a) We have the opinion of choosing which DNA we will become/reflect.
b) The DNA you choose to become must be fed daily by your actions.
Dear believer, you have the unique gift of having double DNA; use it in such a way that God is glorified, for we are carriers of God in our fragile bodies.
